Answer the question based on the following information.
A, B, C, D, E and F are a group of friends from a club. There are two housewives, one lecturer, one architect, one accountant and one lawyer in the group. There are two married couples in the group. The lawyer is married to D who is a housewife. No lady in the group is either an architect or an accountant. C, the accountant, is married to F who is a lecturer. A is married to D and E is not a housewife.
What is the profession of E?

  3. Lecturer
  4. Accountant

Ans should be B) 

clues :

1. There are two married couples in the group.

2.The lawyer is married to D who is a housewife

3.A is married to D 

so from 2,3 clue we can say A-D are couple and A is lawyer and D is housewife .

4. C, the accountant, is married to F who is a lecturer.  so C-F are couple and c is accountant and F is lecturer 

5. No lady in the group is either an architect or an accountant

6.E is not a housewife.

now 2 friends are remaining to identify . from 5,6 clue its clear E is not female bcoz he is not house wife now it can only be architech

so B is housewife and E is architech .
