At 7'o clock the minute hand and hour hand are separated by 25 min. distance. They come in staright line when this separation is 30 min. - so minute hand (it moves faster) needs to gain 5 min. distance.

The minute hand  gains 55 min. in 60 min. over the hour hand.

                    1 min.   gain       "   $\frac{60}{55}$ "

                     5  min. gain        "  $\frac{60}{55}\times 5$=$5\frac{5}{11}$ min

Ans.D) $5\frac{5}{11}$ min  past 7
